So… why Crayons in my Coffee?

It's not a long story...When my oldest was little, he dropped a crayon into my coffee.

A crayon. In my coffee. 🫠

That little moment stuck with me.

Isn't that life?

You can have your coffee sitting right there, everything seemingly under control, and then suddenly… crayons in your coffee.

Things don't always go according to plan. There are spills, interruptions, unexpected turns, and a lot of times that make you think... Well, that wasn't how I pictured this going.

For a long time, I felt the need to be perfect, keep everything in order. The older I get, the more I'm learning to embrace the mess instead.

To find the humor in it. To notice the little good things. To stop waiting for everything to be perfectly put together before allowing myself to enjoy it.

Sometimes the things that don't go according to plan become the stories we remember most.

Maybe that's what this name reminds me of: life doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful. 🤍

So when things get messy, plans change, or your day takes an unexpected turn, don't be so quick to write it off.

There might just be something wonderful waiting in the middle of the mess.
